I’m not dead, I’m not, but boy, for a while, I sure thought I was.
Okay, it happened on Wednesday night, well technically, Thursday morning, just after midnight. My sister Briana, my friend Marilyn, and I were joking around in the parking lot, I set up a coke can for her to run over and she did, then I climbed on the hood of the car and jokingly said, “Ok, go!”
But then, she started going, fast.
I freaked out to say the least; my sister who was in the car did too.
I screamed for her to stop and she jerked a bit on the breaks, she didn’t stop, but it was enough for me to go flying off the hood, where I hit the ground, hard, on my left ankle, then snapped back and hit my head and left arm. I broke my leg, it was a compound fracture, meaning my bone had broken through the skin, my head and arm were bleeding pretty badly, but luckily I didn’t need any in either my arm or head.
So, my sister called an ambulance after they stopped and realized I was hurt, so the ambulance came and took me to Scripps hospital in Encinitas, and there my parents met up with me, luckily they weren’t mad, they were just glad I didn’t break my neck. So was I. So I had surgery on my leg at around 2am, or so, after they set my bone back into place, ouch, lol. The surgery was only supposed to last two hours, but it actually lasted almost five, but anyway, I was asleep, of course, so I didn’t care too much. Lol
I was in the hospital from Thursday to Saturday, and I’ve been drifting out of sleep and awareness, since then… Which is always fun, not.
Anyway, I though that some of you might have gotten worried at my sudden disappearance, so I thought I’d tell you what’s going on, I don’t know how often I’ll be able to get on, so anyway, that is what’s up. J
